Hitting stride in our tinpot dictatorship era
Idiocracy is a documentary
Donald J Trump is a cartoon villain. Don’t misunderstand me, he’s a real villain too. He’s a hateful, ignorant, old cretin responsible for war crimes in the Caribbean, kidnapping/torture immigrants, 100 thousands of future deaths from deleting USAID overnight, and many more crimes than I’ve got time to list. He’s a uniquely horrible human being.
However, it the cartoonish villainy that I think may finally break through into the public consciousness. The cartoon villain is evil but also clownish and incompetent. Americans (and conservatives) may finally weary of being made a global laughingstock.
And so I think we should focus even more on the clownish, embarrassing aspect of his dictator complex because it highlights how pathetic and weak he is. Donald Trump is not a strong man, he’s merely a clumsy wannabe strongman, and the more exposed people are to Trump the more clownish and weak he appears. And maybe more than anything else, the American public doesn’t like to be seen as weak and laughable.
Welcome to America-stan
There’s an irony in how the Trump WH has rejected “third world” migration while simultaneously importing the aesthetic of a Central Asian/African dictatorships.
Cabinet meetings have become a bootlicking competition to the dear leader, effectively indistinguishable from the silliest -stan dictatorship.
But it’s not just words. Our birthright is being twisted to fulfill the ego of the clown dictator.
I’m reminded of a time when a younger me was driving through East Africa. I recall seeing huge billboards of Museveni with a straw hat and smiling “Mao-like” at the adoring masses. I thought it was so foreign. We wouldn’t tolerate that kind of imagery in America I thought.
I was wrong, so far.
Golden Dome, Golden Fleet, Gold Card, golden Oval Office
Trump has always been this shallow. He was a reality tv star playing business man. He’s now a cheap dictator playing strong president. Thankfully the cheap gilt aesthetics of the clown dictator are so ripe for mockery and parody, he’s giving us ample chances to recognize and correct. Americans, read this and get mad:
Always a sign of healthy democracy: huge banners of Dear Leader
And remember this and the clown court who facilitate it:

Totally normal to put yourself and cronies on the board and then name it after yourself:
I love how ugly and cheap it is. It exposes the nature of the clown-nosed Bond villains. No better metaphor for this admin than plastic decor spray painted in gold. *if you think they saved money vs still pocketed the difference between plastic and gold decorations, I’ve got magic beans to sell you:
Poor George:
Remember this when you hear that “country X is corrupt” and consider if they’d allow their president to do this or make billions from meme coins. Russia or China? Yes. Ukraine or Taiwan? Absolutely not.
Ok this is a step too far for Kim Jong Un:
Final notes:
1) Americans, don’t lose your capacity to get enraged at how these people are simultaneously mocking our nation while pilfering the public coffers, 2) recall all the journalists/politicos who told you this term would be like Trump v1.0 (they were either very stupid or lying - ignore them forever) and 3) when this is over, we need to tear down every statue, every sign, and dictator-proof our society again.
to my kids, only a few years ago this all seemed unthinkable.
We’ve since learned it’s all too possible to fall from the heights of 1st world to Central Asian clown state in less than 10 yrs. Idiocracy was a documentary

Stupidity will grow as much as it's allowed
Well put!
Mockery is also a corrosive threat to autocrat power. So more of that.
